“Lovely campsite in a beautiful area with a great swimming pool. It was nice that it was mostly covered. Even with rain, camping remained enjoyable thanks to the good drainage. The sanitary facilities were clean, and there was always toilet paper available. The dishwasher was absolutely amazing! In short, a park we’d love to return to.”

Do you enjoy taking a refreshing dip in the pool during your holiday? Then our campsite near Otterlo is the right place for you! Take a dip in our refreshing outdoor pool or enjoy the excitement in our indoor pool with two spectacular slides. Do you dare to take a ride in the 'Super Glide' or the 'Crazy Cone'? During hot summer days, the roof of our indoor pool can even be partially opened. For the young swimmers among us there is a children's pool with two slides and fun fountains for extra water fun, and for the little ones there is a special Mediterranean splash pool.

What is there to do in the Otterlo area?

Stay during your holiday in the Otterlo area, also known as the bustling heart of the Veluwe! Within 20 minutes you are already in the centre of Otterlo, making holiday park Ackersate the ideal base. Discover the hospitality of Otterlo, a village just before the entrance to De Hoge Veluwe National Park. Go exploring and take a walk on the Otterloop Trail, a beautiful walk of almost 5 km through impressive forests, heathland, hills and drifting sand. For a bit more adventure, hike the Natuurmonumenten route Planken Wambuis. Enjoy the rugged nature of Planken Wambuis and meet wild animals such as horses and Spanish cattle. If you are a bit lucky, you may even spot boars, deer or red deer!

For a walk with the kids, take the Otterlose Mushroom Route. Set off with a pointed hat on your head and a knapsack on your back and wander through the forests of Otterlo. The children can complete tasks and answer questions, and to top it all off, the children will receive a real gnome diploma afterwards! Cycling enthusiasts are also welcome at our campsite near Otterlo. This area has many existing junctions, allowing you to create your own cycling route through the beautiful countryside!
