General (booking) terms

 

Booking process

You are personally responsible for providing the correct data to enable the booking process. If you knowingly provide incorrect data, your booking may be cancelled by the holiday park without further explanation. Vakantiepark Ackersate only accepts bookings from persons of 21 years and older. The tenant must be 21 years or older and present at the stay. Vakantiepark Ackersate reserves the right to refuse a booking at any time - without giving reasons. Reservations are confirmed and invoiced digitally within 10 days of receipt. If you do not have an e-mail address, you will receive a confirmation, including invoice, by post. After receiving the confirmation/invoice, you should check it for accuracy immediately. Any inaccuracies or alleged inaccuracies must be reported in writing at the latest 10 days after the date of the confirmation/invoice and before the start of the stay. If you have not received a confirmation/invoice after 10 days, please contact Vakantiepark Ackersate.

Group bookings

You can make bookings for associations, schools, and foundations, by contacting Vakantiepark Ackerstate in writing (info@ackersate.nl). Special conditions can be set for, among others, supervision and the location of the accommodation. The purpose of the stay and size of the group may, in certain cases, lead to the group not being accepted. Vakantiepark Ackersate has the right to request a deposit.

 

Prices

Vakantiepark Ackersate reserves the right to change prices and/or arrangements. After the final confirmation/invoice, you are no longer entitled to make use of any discount schemes and/or promotions. If the final cost differs from the price given on the internet, you will be contacted. Discount offers can never be combined. Due to dynamic prices, the price given on the website today may differ from the price given tomorrow. If you have already booked, this does not entitle you to a refund or other compensation for the price difference. 

 

Final cleaning

Final cleaning is mandatory for all accommodations at Holiday Park Ackersate. After a stay, we expect the accommodation to be left as follows:
- The bungalow/tent/holiday villa has been cleaned up and vacuumed.
- The inventory has been washed and is in its original place.
- The bed linen has been collected and is at the front door.
- The garbage bag has been deposited in the garbage container.
- If possible, the refrigerator has been switched to defrosting and the door opened the evening before departure.

 

Payments

The full amount of the stay must be paid upon arrival. There are three payment terms:
- The first installment of 20% of the total amount must be paid within 3 days after booking.
- The second installment of 30% of the total amount must be paid no later than five months before the arrival date. If the booking takes place within five months before the start, the first and second payment terms will be combined.
- The third installment of 50% of the total amount must be paid six weeks before the arrival date. If the booking takes place within six weeks before the start, the entire amount must be transferred in one go.

 

Changes

Changes within 24 hours of booking:
If you wish to change the period of stay after booking, this can be done within 24 hours free of charge.

Changes up to 72 hours before the start of the reservation with a rebooking guarantee: 
- Rebooking can be done up to 72 hours (3 days) before the start of the booked holiday.
- Rebooking can be done to a later moment in the same calendar year based on availability.
- The Rebooking Guarantee can be added to the booking up to a maximum of 7 days after the booking date.
- Do you use the Rebooking Guarantee and is the newly chosen holiday more expensive? Then you have to pay the difference. 
- Is the new chosen time of stay cheaper? Then we will pay the remaining amount in voucher(s) to spend on the rental price of a subsequent stay at Vakantiepark Ackersate. We do not pay out the difference in cash.
- Any (last-minute) discounts that took effect after the initial booking date are not entitled to when using the rebooking guarantee.
- Rebooking to a next calendar year is not possible with the rebooking guarantee. The Recron cancellation conditions as stated on this page will now apply.
- If the booking is eventually cancelled, the amount of the rebooking guarantee will be charged in full. 

Changes up to 72 hours before the start of the reservation without a rebooking guarantee: 
If you have not used our 'changeover guarantee' option, the Recron cancellation conditions as stated on this page will apply.

Changes within 72 hours before commencement of the reservation:
The Recron cancellation conditions as stated on this page will now apply.

Information for all changes:
- If, after the booking of more than one place/accommodation has been made, you wish to reduce the number of places/accommodations booked, the Recron cancellation conditions as stated on this page apply. 
- If the holiday is passed on to another person, an administration fee of € 55 will be charged and the new guest details must be provided. It is mandatory that Ackersate is aware of the correct guests staying at the park in connection with any accidents/emergencies. Failure to comply with this may result in the immediate termination of the reservation or holiday. The main booker remains responsible for payment to Ackersate at all times.

 

Cancellation

It is always possible to cancel free of charge within 24 hours after booking. After this, the cancellation conditions according to Recron always apply. Vakantiepark Ackersate is a Recron member, and complies with these conditions. It is therefore advised that you take out a cancellation insurance with your booking. For this, you will pay a policy fee of € 4.24 + 6.66% of the rental amount in premium fee. If you cancel without a cancellation insurance you owe us the following:
- Cancellation more than three months before the start date: 15% of the agreed upon price.
- Cancellation between two and three months before the start date: 50% of the agreed upon price.
- Cancellation between one and two months before the start date: 75% of the agreed upon price.
- Cancellation within one month before the start date: 90% of the agreed upon price.
- Cancellation on the day itself: 100% of the agreed upon price.

 

Arrival and departure

On arrival, we want to provide you with all the information as quickly and as well as possible. Please state your reservation number when you check in. The accommodation can be used from 15:00 and the pitch from 14:00. The key will not be issued any earlier. If the holiday maker has not arrived within 24 hours of the agreed date without further notice, this will be considered a cancellation.
You must check out by 10:00 am at the reception when you have rented accommodation. In the case of a camping pitch, you must check out by 10:30 am. The pitch/accommodation can then be prepared for the next stay. If the holiday maker leaves early, the full agreed price is due.

 

Lost property

Upon departure from an accommodation, the holiday maker must take all personal belongings with him. If any items are left behind, these will be considered lost property. Vakantiepark Ackersate cannot be held liable if 'found objects' are not found in an accommodation. Lost property will be kept for a maximum of 2 months. With the exception of food items, socks and underwear, these will not be kept. Within this period, there is the possibility to collect any found items or have them shipped for a fee. Pets

Pets are allowed in a limited number of accommodation/places. If skin animals are allowed, a maximum of one pet is allowed. Pets must be notified when booking so that the correct fee can be charged. It is mandatory that pets are free of fleas and/or other pests. Pets must be kept on a leash outside a pitch/accommodation at all times. Pets do not have access to facilities such as the toilet blocks, waterfall, indoor playground, trampoline park and swimming pool. Pets must always be taken outside the park, where they must be cleaned up. Pets of (daytime) visitors are not allowed.  

 

Swimming

Use of the swimming pool is entirely at your own risk. Access to the swimming pool is by means of wristbands and/or passes. Children from six years of age and over and in possession of a swimming certificate are granted their own access to the pool. Parents and/or supervisors must ensure that children who cannot swim are required to wear swimming rings and/or a life jacket. An adult should always be within reach here.

 

Internet use

Vakantiepark Ackersate offers the use of internet to every paying guest via a WiFi network or the cable. Public internet is available at the (covered) terrace and the swimming pool. Vakantiepark Ackersate is not liable for damage resulting from the use of the internet, or as a result of network malfunctions. The internet user is expected to accept the laws and regulations. If damage is caused to Vakantiepark Ackersate in the broadest sense of the word, due to violations of these rules, the internet user will be held liable.

 

Day visitors

If you wish to visit Vakantiepark Ackersate for one day without having booked a place/accommodation, this is possible. Pets of day visitors are not allowed. Day visitors can park their cars in the (paid) parking area on the Harremaatweg. Upon departure, the exit ticket can be validated at the parking ticket machine at the car park by means of a pin card. If visitors stay overnight, they must report this to the reception of Vakantiepark Ackersate. Here the visitor will be charged a rate. Please note that when guests stay overnight, the maximum number of persons per pitch or accommodation will not be exceeded. 

 

Parking / traffic on the park

Each reservation includes one parking space for one car. With the exception of the 12-person bungalow, which has two parking spaces. The parking spaces are in central parking lanes. If you come to Vakantiepark Ackersate with several cars, they can be placed on the (paid) car park on the Harremaatweg. At the reception of Vakantiepark Ackersate you can have the extra car registered on your reservation at a favourable rate.

Dutch traffic rules apply at the park. On the park, cars must be driven at walking pace. Hoverboards and electric scooters are not allowed. Ackersate is not responsible for any accidents.

 

Photos and videos

Vakantiepark Ackersate creates photo/video content for promotional purposes. When entering the park, either as a guest, day visitor, or other, you grant permission to Vakantiepark Ackersate to (recognizably) appear on a photograph. If you object to this, you can indicate this when booking, or at the reception during the stay. Vakantiepark Ackersate will try to take this into account wherever possible. You can request photos on which you can be recognized for private purposes, by sending an email to Vakantiepark Ackersate. No rights can be derived from the images.

 

Legal liability

The holiday park management does not accept any liability for theft, loss, or damage to goods. This also applies to accidents or injuries of persons during, or as a result of a stay at this park. We are also not liable for the failure or possible inoperability of technical installations, possible closure or failure of amenities and facilities at our park, and the consequences thereof. Management is not liable for noise and smell pollution, any external calamities, and terrain conditions as a result of weather conditions. Any consequences of these weather conditions and natural circumstances are also outside of our liability. The management is also not liable for any consequences as a result of participation in the activities we organize, on or off the site. Everyone's stay is completely at their own risk.

 

General

The general (booking) conditions apply to all bookings made directly or indirectly at Vakantiepark Ackersate. We reserve the right to change the content of Vakantiepark Ackersate (digital) publications. Vakantiepark Ackersate is not bound by obvious (digital) printing errors.
