General (booking) terms

Booking process

You are responsible for providing the correct information in order to correctly process the booking. If you deliberately provide incorrect information, your booking can be canceled by the holiday park without further explanation. Vakantiepark Ackersate only accepts bookings from people aged 18 and over. The tenant must be 18 years or older, and must be present at the accommodation. Vakantiepark Ackersate reserves the right to, at any time - without stating reasons - refuse a booking. Reservations will be digitally confirmed and invoiced within 10 days of receipt. If you do not have an email address, you will receive a confirmation by mail, this is also an invoice. After receiving the confirmation/invoice, you must immediately check if it is correct. Any possible or alleged inaccuracies must always be made known in writing, no later than 10 days after the confirmation/invoice date, and before the start of the stay. If you have not received a confirmation/invoice after 10 days, you can contact Vakantiepark Ackersate.

Options on a reservation will be provided for up to one week (free of charge). Through the website, the default length for options is 48 hours. If someone else wants to make a reservation for the same period, and the same place, the person who has the standing option will be contacted. You must then confirm or reject the option within a reasonable time frame (in consultation, but before the option expires). After booking, you still have 24 hours to cancel the booking free of charge. Deviations from this booking process always go through the holiday park management. The Recron conditions apply to all bookings.

Group bookings

You can make bookings for associations, schools, and foundations, by contacting Vakantiepark Ackerstate in writing ( Special conditions can be set for, among others, supervision and the location of the accommodation. The purpose of the stay and size of the group may, in certain cases, lead to the group not being accepted. Vakantiepark Ackersate has the right to request a deposit.

Vakantiepark Ackersate reserves the right to change prices and/or packages. After the final confirmation/invoice, you no longer have the right to make use of any discounts and/or promotions. If the final cost deviates from the quote provided online, you will be contacted. Discounts can never be combined.

Final cleaning

A final cleaning is not mandatory at Vakantiepark Ackersate. If the final cleaning is not paid for, we expect the accommodation to be left as it was found. This means that everything must be vacuumed and cleaned. We request that you pay extra attention to the kitchen and the bathroom, which need to be cleaned thoroughly. If you make use of the 'final cleaning' option, you only need to ensure the following:
- The bungalow/tent/holiday villa is tidied up and vacuumed.
- The inventory has been washed, and put in the original place.
- The bedding is removed and put by the front door.
- The garbage bag is placed in the garbage container.
- The refrigerator has been, if possible, set to defrost the night before departure, and the door is opened.
The cleaners will check the accommodations at random on the day of departure.

The full amount of the stay must be paid at the time of arrival. The first installment of 50% of the total amount must be paid within two weeks after booking. The second installment of 50% of the total amount must be paid six weeks before arrival. If the booking is made between six and three weeks before the start of the stay, the entire amount must be transferred in one transaction. For bookings that are made within three weeks before arrival, the amount may be paid upon arrival.

If you want to change the stay period after booking, you can do this free of charge within 24 hours. After a rebooking and/or change in the stay period to a cheaper period and/or accommodation, you owe us the entire agreed upon amount. After a rebooking and/or change in the stay period to a more expensive period and/or accommodation, you will be charged for the extra cost. If, after you have made the booking for more than one pitch/accommodation, you want to reduce the number of booked pitches/accommodations, the cancellation conditions as stated on this page apply.

It is always possible to cancel free of charge within 24 hours after booking. After this, the cancellation conditions according to Recron always apply. Arrival and departure

Upon arrival, we want to provide you with all the information in the best, and fastest way possible. State the reservation number when checking in. The pitch/accommodation can be used from 2 p.m. The key will not be provided before this time. If the holiday maker has not arrived within 24 hours after the agreed date, and without any notice, this will be seen as a cancellation.
You need to check out at the front desk before 10:30 a.m. The pitch/accommodation can then be prepared for a next stay. If the holiday maker leaves early, they still owe the full agreed upon price. The holiday maker must take all personal items with him when leaving an accommodation. If items are left behind, these will be regarded as lost and found objects. Vakantiepark Ackersate cannot be held responsible if 'lost and found objects' are not found in an accommodation. Lost and found objects will be stored for up to 3 months. Within this period, it is possible to pick up lost and found objects, or have them sent for a fee.

Pets are allowed in a limited number of accommodations/on a limited number of pitches. If pets are allowed, a maximum of one pet is allowed. Pets must be registered when booking, so that the correct fees can be charged. It is mandatory that pets don't have any fleas and/or other pests. Pets must always be kept on a leash outside a pitch/accommodation. Pets do not have access to the facilities, such as the toilet blocks, water valley, trampoline park, and swimming pool. Walking of pets must always take place outside the park. Pets belonging to day visitors are not allowed.

The use of the swimming pool is entirely at your own risk. You can gain access to the swimming pool using a finger scan. Children from the age of six who have a swimming certificate, and a valid reservation, can create a finger scan at the reception. Parents and/or supervisors must ensure that children who can't swim wear safety rings and/or a life jacket. An adult should always be within reach. You can read more about the use of the finger scan for gaining access to the pool in the privacy statement.
