General

How do I get all the information during my stay?

You can download the Ackersate App via Google Play or the AppStore. Here you will find all information about the facilities, opening hours, the area and the latest news.

Are pets allowed?

1 pet per pitch is allowed on the camping pitches, with the exception of camping pitches 1 to 10.

Pets are not allowed in the bungalow chalets, with the exception of specially designated accommodations. You will find this in our search and book.

Is the park suitable for disabled people?

The bungalow chalets do not have any special facilities, but a large number of bungalow chalets are walker-friendly. Please contact reception for this.

Adapted sanitary facilities are available for the camping pitches.

All facilities (except the laundry) are wheelchair accessible.

Accommodation & camping pitch

Is a barbecue allowed on the campsite?

If weather conditions permit, a barbecue is allowed. Please be considerate of your neighbors.

The fire brigade cannot circumstances prohibit open fire and/or barbecuing. We will then communicate this at the park.

Is a campfire or fire pit allowed?

No, it is not allowed to make a campfire or other open fire in the park. Not even with a fire basket or fire bowl.

Where do I park the car?

It is not allowed to park the car near the caravan or bungalow chalet (exception below). There is a parking lot opposite the entrance to the park and there is also parking available in the park itself. These parking lanes are located close to the camping sites. See the map for an overview.

Only at camping pitches 231 to 236 it is possible to park the car at the camping pitch.

Are the bungalows also available for temporary housing?

We are a holiday park for people who want to stay recreationally and really enjoy a holiday.

We do not rent our bungalows to temporarily accommodate employees.

During the winter months, some accommodations are used for temporary living space. Read more about this on our page for temporary housing.

 

Reservations & payments

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age to make a reservation is 21 years. Youth groups traveling alone are not allowed.

What is the payment policy?

The full amount of the stay must be paid upon arrival. There are three payment terms:

  • The first installment of 20% of the total amount must be paid within 3 days after booking.
  • The second installment of 30% of the total amount must be paid no later than five months before the arrival date. If the booking is made within five months before the start, the first and second payment terms will be combined.
  • The third installment of 50% of the total amount must be paid six weeks before the arrival date. If the booking is made within six weeks before the start, the entire amount must be transferred in one go.

Can I cancel my holiday?

Cancellation within 24 hours of your booking is free of charge. After this, cancellation fees will apply.

If you have taken out cancellation insurance through Ackersate, you can cancel your holiday after providing proof. If you have not taken out insurance and you cancel your holiday, you will be charged at least 15% of the basic price (with a minimum of €25) in accordance with the RECRON conditions. You must always make a cancellation by email.

 

Arrival & departure

Can I check in earlier?

If we have a mobile telephone number and the accommodation is completely clean on the day of arrival, you will receive a text message from us. From then on you can check in earlier.

For camping pitches, you can contact us on the day itself to ask what the options are.

It is always possible to arrive earlier in the day and use the park facilities without using the accommodation or camping pitch. The car can then be parked in the general parking lot.

What are the arrival and departure times?

Facilities & opening hours

Are the campsite facilities open all year round?

Our park facilities are open from Easter to the autumn holidays. During the winter period the facilities are closed or have very limited opening hours. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Is there also WiFi at the holiday park?

Free WiFi is available at Holiday Park Ackersate!

Do you also have room rental?

You can celebrate a party or hold a meeting with us. This is only possible if you also purchase the catering from us. We have the Bruin Café available for smaller groups. Larger groups can also use Restaurant Het Karrewiel.

Children's parties can be celebrated at Ackersate Holiday Park from April to October. We have put together various packages so that you can organize your perfect party.
